So I know it has been a while since I've written. Don't worry I'll catch you up in what I like to call "A Recap of my life according to me.." Ready, set, write:
I traveled for work eating delicious drumsticks until about the beginning of November. Crazy, I know. Hung out with my friends from all over...bought another cook book this time by Nigella Lawson...I know I said I wouldn't buy any more cookbooks, but she was in Chicago and I couldn't miss that chance to meet her. Here is a picture of the book which has her lovely signature inside :)
Thanksgiving was here and I spent it with the fam...I made Tiramisu from Nigella's book and it was a HIT!...December brought ICE and a snow day from ISU...I skated on my street. My Annual X-mas party year 10! came was moved because of the ice storm but was a blast although many couldn't come because of the weather. The 11th one is coming and it's going to be a blast...Christmas came and conquered...New Years Eve came and I turned 25. How did I celebrate, by buying a Chapeu (it means hat in french--it was a top hat). Ahhh, I'm 25! I'm still coping. I went out with a friend from HS and it was great to see her and then spent the rest of my bday in my PJs...my family went to bed early and I drank a glass of champaigne while watching x-mas movies which I love. Went to Texas for the FOCUS conference--a great time BTW...Winter was a Bitch and I was very maudlin but I treaded through thanx to friends, Quelf, YouTube, and ProjectRunway (don't judge...I love this show). Hung out with all my awesome friends...Went to Ch's Babtism...had a drink called Apple Pie in the EP...became a Godfather for my friends B&M B's daughter C which was awesome... at the sime time, Lent was here and magically 40 days later it was Easter. I went and spent the whole triduum in Peoria with my freind EG where I served as a vimp (that's right V.I.M.P) for the Bish and then hung out at the after party at the Bish's home with all those who served. Party = Greatly needed because our Lord is Risen and we deserve to party (cue "we like to party" song now). Every party has a pooper, and it's never me :)
whew...that was a lot...crazy!
This all leads to this weekend and going to a NK Reunion which I have not done in a while. It was a blast and I loved spending time with some great katz and their kiddies.
I'm going to try harder to update my blog because I do like writing and I haven't had time to do it. I'm going to make time for it! ...hopefully :)
If I have friends who read it, or stalkers who stalk from time to time, know that I will be doing more of it.
