One of the perks of living in the city is that everything is a walk away. Whether it’s shopping for food, appliance, or furniture; entertainment, movies, and bars; a haircut and beard trim; Bus or L stop; oh yeah and Church too, all is just a walk away.
One may think that frigid temperatures (Negative something today) and gale winds that cut through your flesh like piranha fangs would stop me from getting out and about.
Well, No. In fact, BP (translated as NO WAY)to that!
Just this morning, as I was getting ready for work, I realized that today especially was going to be tough to get to work. So I packed myself into my armor consisting of a coat, scarves, gloves, hat, ear warmers, and the ‘piece de resistance’ my iPod.
Yes, this little beacon of power really has been the key to my mornings; hyping myself with it when I wake, while I get ready, and finally out to battle the frigid cold.
Today I even danced a bit at the bus stop while I waited for my bus, thus warming up my body, my mind, and my soul.
Sure, there were people out and about, hopefully, they’ll join me tomorrow.

Sorry we haven't made the Market happen yet. To be honest, don't think I can go this weekend, either. We are doing our holiday baking for our out of town relatives. It's ok, I'm glad you got to go! Can't wait to see your plaaaaaace! Stay warm!
